This week’s programme features teams from Lochdar Primary School and Sandbank Primary School, with special guests Catriona MacPhee and Rhoda Meek. Gleusta is presented by Liz Pyper & Steven MacIver, directed by Michael Hines and produced for Sealladh by Morag Stewart.

The year’s chart hits include Dire Strait’s Money for Nothing, Drive from The Cars and Tina Turner’s We Don’t Need Another Hero.

SPL St Johnstone v Dundee United

The latest full-match coverage from the SPL as St Johnstone host Dundee United at McDiarmid Park, Perth.
There has been a share of the spoils in both previous Tayside derbies this season. Their last match ended in a 0-0 stalemate in October, so viewers will be hoping for a repeat of their first encounter in August which ended in a scintillating 3-3 draw.

An Ribheid Chiuil

The pipes are one of the music world’s most distinctive sounds and piping is one of its earliest musical forms. This exciting, new series - An Ribheid Chiùil / Reed Music - tells the amazing story of the instrument and its players, and is a fascinating introduction to the international, colourful and exciting world of the pipes. From diffusion, change and sophistication in the world of piping over history, to today’s players who have taken piping into new popularity through pipebands, solo performing and bands touring international festivals and circuits.
The last programme in the series looks at how the pipes are now being used alongside other instruments in bands leading to new, exciting and developing sounds. The trail blazed by Moving Hearts in Ireland and Scotland’s Tannahill Weaver and continued today by a new generation of musical collaborations including Daimh, Breabach and Ross Ainslie & Jarlath Henderson. Presented by piper Anna Murray.

The year’s chart hits include Europe’s The Final Countdown, Berlin’s Take my Breath Away and Falco’s Rock Me Amadeus.
